2、 Usage method
- Preparation work
-Check the water level in the water tank (covering the heating tube and not exceeding the height of the temperature sensor), and it is recommended to use distilled water to prevent scaling.
-Clean and dry the items to be sterilized, then place them in an inner basket (not exceeding 80% of the capacity, leaving gaps between the items). - Operation steps
-Close the cabinet door and tighten the seal, then connect the 220V power supply.
-Rotate the “temperature knob” (usually 121 ℃) and “time knob” (15-30 minutes, adjust according to the item).
-The equipment automatically heats up to generate steam and keeps the cabinet door closed during the sterilization process. - End and retrieval
-After sterilization is completed, wait for the pressure to return to zero and the temperature to drop below 60 ℃.
-Wear insulated gloves and open the cabinet door to take out items; Clean the chamber and dry it after use.

6、 Introduction to Working Principle
- Core sterilization mechanism: Dry heat destroys microbial structure
The essence of dry heat sterilization is to use high temperature to irreversibly denature the proteins and nucleic acids of microorganisms, while destroying the stability of cell membranes, ultimately leading to the death of microorganisms (including stubborn pathogens such as bacterial spores and fungal spores).
Protein denaturation: When the temperature exceeds 120 ℃, the spatial structure of microbial proteins (such as hydrogen bonds and peptide bonds) is disrupted, resulting in the loss of enzyme activity and life functions.
Nucleic acid degradation: High temperature can cause the double helix structure of DNA/RNA to break, making replication and metabolism impossible.
- Complete workflow: heating → constant temperature sterilization → cooling
After the heating stage equipment is powered on, the built-in electric heating tube (1000W power) quickly heats up, heating the air inside the chamber through thermal radiation and convection:
-Thermal radiation: The electric heating tube directly radiates heat to the inner wall of the cavity and the surface of the object;
-Thermal convection: Hot air rises and cold air sinks inside the cavity, forming a cycle that causes the temperature of the cavity to rise uniformly (usually up to 121 ℃ in 10-15 minutes).
Note: The heat dissipation holes on the side of the body are designed to balance the air pressure inside and outside the cavity, avoiding damage to the equipment caused by excessive pressure.
During the constant temperature sterilization stage, when the temperature of the chamber reaches the set value (usually 121 ℃ by default, which can be adjusted through a knob), the temperature sensor will provide feedback signal, and the equipment will enter the “constant temperature mode”:
The electric heating tube works intermittently to maintain a stable chamber temperature within the target range (± 2 ℃);
This stage needs to be maintained for 15-30 minutes (adjusted according to the type of item) – because bacterial spores have strong heat resistance and require sufficient time to be completely inactivated.
After the sterilization time of the cooling stage is over, the electric heating tube stops working, and the heat inside the chamber is naturally dissipated through the body’s heat dissipation holes. The temperature gradually drops to below 60 ℃ (to avoid burns caused by high-temperature objects and to prevent items from getting damp due to sudden cooling).
- The difference between steam sterilization (why is it “dry heat”)
Many small sterilizers use “steam sterilization”, but this one belongs to “dry heat”:
Steam sterilization relies on the “moist heat” of high-temperature steam (strong penetration and fast sterilization speed), but requires a water tank to generate steam;
And this product does not generate steam and relies entirely on dry hot air sterilization inside the chamber – the advantage is that it will not let metal tools get damp or rust, making it more suitable for small metal utensils; The disadvantage is that the sterilization time is slightly longer than steam sterilization.
